Wedding videography in Ravello Amalfi Coast

Ravello, the pearl of the Amalfi Coast where in October the weather is still warm and sometimes you can still dive into the sea. This natural beauty is even more accentuated by the colors of autumn leaves and its warm light. In this breathtaking scenery the wedding of Rachel and Jim, a couple from Los Angeles but with Taiwanese heritage, was celebrated. A magnificent luxury event but at the same time elegant and friendly, planned perfectly by the talented wedding planner Paulina Corvi from New York.

The pre-wedding was dedicated to the traditions of Chinese wedding, with door games and a cinematic tea ceremony under the ancient Belvedere of the gardens of Villa Cimbrone. The evening ended with a welcome dinner with family and close friends at the restaurant of Palazzo Avino.
As a destination wedding videographer in Italy, Ravello is among the locations that I love most and Villa Cimbrone is probably the one I prefer to work in. For the perfect light, the view over the sea, the magical atmosphere and the History that this place has. A destination wedding at Villa Cimbrone is a classy and elegant choice.
On the wedding day there was a strong risk of rain and even a strong wind – it can also be heard in the audio of the ceremony! – but fortunately a (blessed) ray of sunshine came out during the wedding vows to light up the Bride and Groom and this made the atmosphere truly magical and the wedding film truly more beautiful.

A special thanks to Paulina who, after has been a happy customer of mine as a bride for her own wedding, she has started a brilliant career as a wedding planner and strongly supported me as a wedding videographer for this event. Thanks again!

Wedding videographer in Florence Tuscany

This wedding season has been very intense, with magnificent events and classy clients. This wedding may have reached the top because of the bride and groom‘s beauty and for the incredible elegance of the venue, Villa Cora in Florence. In two days we have witnessed 4 changes of dress from the bride and 3 different suits from the groom …. and honestly, as a man who love the style, I was a little jealous of those Peter ones 😉 As previously announced in my journal there was a pre-wedding with traditional Chinese tea ceremony in the afternoon. the tea ceremony is always interesting for a wedding videographer; the beautiful traditional Chinese clothes, the formalities of the ceremony and respect for the family. Also it’s often a moment of big emotions, precious material for an exciting wedding film in perfect Dolcevita Wedding Cinema style! Once again, look at that amazing Chinese wedding dress!

The welcome dinner was held at the B-Roof, the terrace of the Hotel Baglioni where you can enjoy an enchanting view of Florence.
The wedding day, preps, ceremony and reception took place at Villa Cora; Paulina in her breathtaking dress Pronovias looked like a real princess and Peter with an impeccable white tuxedo blazer was perfect for the Tuscan summer. Everything went perfectly just as the bride and groom had dreamed for their wedding day; the magic of a destination wedding in Italy is also this, taking things as they are and enjoy the moments and the atmosphere that a unique place such Florence and Tuscany can give you.

Paulina and Peter are certainly a sophisticated and demanding couple but also very friendly and easygoing people, it was an honor to be chosen directly by them as a wedding videographer for the most important day of their lives, and I do thank them for this. Last but not least, it was a pleasure to work alongside great wedding professionals such the wedding photographer David Bastianoni and the wedding planner Sandra Santoro of gettingmarriedinitaly®, a dream team for a dream wedding.

I was working on the wedding film editing of Paulina and Peter, a nice, elegant and stilish couple from New York, who will be ready in a few weeks (so stay tuned!). I could not stop looking at those magnificent images of the bride dressed in the traditional Chinese dress for the tea ceremony, during the pre-wedding. The colors of the dress, the warm light that came through the windows, the beauty of Villa Cora in Florence. A magical atmosphere. A dream wedding, elegant in every single detail and these two guys of a breathtaking beauty. I had already filmed several tea ceremonies, but this time the bride chose the traditional Chinese dress, something out of this world definitely! Filming it was a great emotion and through the lens I was seeing images that recall me memories of an ancient and exotic world. Surely one of most beautiful destination wedding that I’ve ever filmed, I’m sure the final result will be astonishing.
Thanks also to all the Italian team that worked in this wedding, from the wedding planner, to the florists and the photographer; every single person has worked together to get the best!
