Lake Como is renowned throughout the world for its enchanting places, for George Clooney’s villa and for fairytale weddings. There are many beautiful places, Bellagio, Tremezzo, Laglio but perhaps my favorite place is Varenna. Varenna is the widest point of Lake Como and also the sunniest, in fact the sun beats down on the village until the golden hour…and you should know, it’s the light we, wedding photographers and videographers, are constantly looking for. As a wedding videographer I can’t do anything but love this place and its light. I have to add, also a great place to get stunning drone shots!
Tanya and Tony have chosen this beautiful location for their wedding. Bride and groom’s preparations, wedding ceremony and reception were held at the Hotel Villa Cipressi, while the couple photos were taken at Villa Monastero and on the iconic Riva boat. The wedding design was managed by MyLakeComoWedding and has the colors and scents of the Mediterranean as its theme, such as the oranges that decorate the floral bouquets. The relaxed atmosphere of an intimate wedding made the day pleasant and particularly genuine. This year, after two years of pandemic, the wedding season in Italy has been very busy and we worked tirelessly throughout August and now we still have several months of editing to deliver all the wedding videos, but every job is done anyway with great care and love.
Dolcevita Wedding Cinema has been involved in wedding videography since 2012. It is based in the Bologna area but it works in the most important wedding locations in Italy: Lake Como, Venice, Amalfi Coast, Tuscany. We have worked in popular destination weddings such as Los Angeles, New York, Ireland, Greece, South Africa, Thailand and more.
