ETERNA: A Timeless Tribute to Rome and Bridal Elegance

 

For more than seventy years, Elvira Gramano has represented the essence of Italian bridal craftsmanship. Passed down through generations of the Gramano family, the historic Roman maison continues to preserve a unique heritage of elegance, artistry, and dedication. Every gown is still meticulously handcrafted within the brand’s atelier in Rome, where tradition and innovation come together to create dresses that celebrate beauty in its most authentic form.

The new Collection ’26 campaign, titled ETERNA, is a heartfelt tribute to Rome, the Eternal City that has inspired the brand since its foundation. Just like the city itself, the gowns embody timeless elegance, refined sophistication, and enduring beauty. Characterized by exquisite tailoring, delicate details, and impeccable craftsmanship, each creation is designed to transcend trends and accompany brides through one of the most meaningful moments of their lives.

To visually express this connection between the collection and its birthplace, we chose one of Rome’s most iconic locations as the setting for the campaign: the majestic staircase of Trinità dei Monti, overlooking Piazza di Spagna. Few places capture the spirit of Rome as powerfully as this historic landmark, where centuries of art, culture, and beauty converge.

The production began before sunrise. We arrived on location at 6:30 a.m., hoping to take advantage of the quiet atmosphere before the city awoke. However, while the streets were relatively empty at dawn, the most beautiful natural light arrived closer to 8:00 a.m. By then, tourists had already started filling the square. Rather than seeing this as a challenge, we embraced the living energy of Rome, allowing the campaign to unfold amid the authentic rhythm of one of the world’s most visited destinations.

ETERNA also marks our second collaboration with Elvira Gramano. Our first project together, created approximately two years ago on the shores of Lake Como, explored a different but equally evocative vision of bridal elegance. This new campaign returns to the brand’s roots, celebrating the city that has shaped its identity for generations.

The result is a collection of images and films that honor both the timeless beauty of Rome and the enduring craftsmanship of Elvira Gramano—two stories of elegance that continue to inspire, generation after generation.
